Axl and Freddy

If you are looking for a caring and professional Cat sitter, Ted is the best choice. Since the very first visit, Ted demonstrated being a reliable person with a great sense of responsibility and detail oriented. Our cats would not be in better hands.

Yodelle

Ted has come to take care of Yodelle on a regular basis for 4 years. He does an amazing job with our Maine Coon. He is always on time, very careful and a good playing companion for her. I appreciate that he keeps me update each time and sends videos and photos of my cat while I’m not at home.

Churchill

Ted is professional, cares, is thoughtful, provides the highest standard of care and is incredibly knowledgeable about cats! It eases my guilt when I am away knowing Churchill is being cared for by Ted!

Opale

Opale is part of our family, and from day one we needed someone who would treat her that way. Ted has done exactly that, by being an excellent and detailed-oriented friend and caretaker for our Opale.

Zoey

Cat’s Dream cat sitting service delivers the reassurance of comfort when you are away from your pet. Like a lot of pet owner, I worried a lot for my cat, Zoey (a boy cat) when I am away. With Ted’s help, my vacation is just extra relax. He takes care of Zoey to the exact way I would’ve. I get photos throughout my trip so I know I have nothing to worry about. On top of this, Ted also respects and is very mindful of my personal property. I cannot ask for a better cat sitter.

• cats are happier and experience less stress at home in their familiar environment.
• Diet and exercise routines are uninterrupted.
• Travel trauma for both owner and cat is eliminated.
• Cat’s exposure to illness is minimized.

As the definition above indicates, cat sitters care for clients’ cats in the clients’ homes. Cat owners often use cat sitters when they go on a vacation, travel for business, work long hours or when they are too sick or injured to care for their cat(s).

During the cat-sitting visits, cat sitters perform a variety of tasks, including:

• Feeding the cats and changing their water bowls
• Providing exercise and playtime
• Cleaning litter boxes and cleaning up any other cat messes
• Administering cat medications, if needed
• Providing lots of TLC!

Cat sitters also often bring in mail or newspapers and alternate blinds and lights to give the home a “lived-in look” if the owners are away. Cat sitters may also perform other tasks as requested by the cat owners.

The initial consultation (or Meet and Greet) is a meeting in your home with your personal sitter. It is at this meeting that we obtain all of the necessary information that we need to care for your cats properly! There is no charge for this meeting. We ask that you provide keys at this visit or arrange for your sitter to pick up keys at your home for a small fee at a later date. Visit Meet and Greet (Initial Consultation) for more information.

Please contact us as soon as you know your schedule. Many of our clients schedule their cat sitting visits months in advance. We will try our best to accommodate last minute cat sitting reservations. For first time clients, we request one to two weeks in advance so we can schedule a time to meet you and your cats so you can show us their routine and we can fill out the paperwork and pick up a key.  For clients that we already have a contract and a key on file we can provide service on much shorter notice.

Cat’s Dream Cat Sitting sitters are fully bonded and insured. This means Peace of Mind for our clients. Our sitters take responsibility for your cats and possessions when you put them in their care. This means that your property and your cats are fully covered, should anything occur on our sitter’s watch. Having these policies in place shows a level of professionalism and commitment that you can trust.

No, we do not board cats. We schedule regular visits to your home during your absence. These visits can be scheduled at any time of the day or night that best suits your cat’s specific needs. Your loved one will be given personal attention by an experienced, animal-loving professional who will treat your cat as one of the family.

Yes! We leave detailed notes and reports after their daily care. For vacation care we are happy to text, make a call or email you with an update if requested. Sometimes we will even post a picture of your cats on Cat’s Dream Cat Sitting website or Facebook page (with your permission, of course).

You must send an email letting us know that you have made it home. If we don’t hear from you when expected, we will try to call you at the numbers you have provided. If we cannot reach you, we will schedule your kitty into the next available opening and we will continue visiting your kitty until we hear that you have made it home. However, if we arrive and find that you did not send an email to end services, we will charge the full amount for the unnecessary visit.

We appreciate it if you can call to let us know so that we do not worry about your well-being. However, even if you can’t reach us, Cat’s Dream Cat Sitting will continue visiting your cat until we have confirmed your return home.

No. Cat’s Dream Cat Sitting has a no job-sharing policy because while cats are in our care we want to ensure that they receive superior cat care, and we don’t feel that we can do this when others have access to the home and cats.

Cancellation requests can only be made by sending an email. Please include the exact dates you would like to cancel.
Cancellations need to be notified a minimum of 24 hours notice in advance, failure to do so will result in full charge.
For holiday cancellation, we require a full 7-day notice prior to a holiday appointment.
